Monday Morning Blues...Not This time!!!

My Sunday,12th July, this week...chilled out,relaxed!!!My roomie,me n lottsa other batchmates of ours caught up on some much needed sleep on dis beautiful Sunday..afterall dis was our first off on Sunday since we landed here in IMNU on 16th June...Thus the Sunday passed beautifully here on Planet IMNU!!!

However,I had this "MONDAY MORNING BLUES" syndrome etched at the back of my mind thru out the sunday...for the uninitiated..Monday Morning Blues refers to hard times u face in the morning at work or college after enjoing the weekend....Whts more,we have the maximum lectures lined up for us on monday..so i thought that this monday is not gonna be any different 4m the past few hard mondays i have faced not 2 mention the blues again....but..i was in for a surprise,this monday was not lyk the usual monday's.....

The day began wid my first presentation in the MBA course,my topic was CELLULAR INTERNET ACCESS...something iam very fond of just lyk many of u ppl...needless to say i had a gr8 presentation n got gr8 feedback from the teacher and my friends...i just love to speak in front of an audience...gr8 start to the day!!!Nxt up we had the accountancy class which was as always queit intersting...OB was up nxt n so was a quiz(dis was due 4 quiet sm tym nw)...my frnz Prayas,Manpreet n me had our lunch in 10 mins flat n rushed back 2 the class 4 the quiz...on my way we picked up Tanvi's cake from the mess...i forgot 2 tell u guys...Tanvi is a very gud friend of mine n it was her birthday on 13th July..This post is dedicated to her.....(rewind)had a gr8 tym celebratin her birthday on 12th nyt(dis added 2 the fun on sunday)by the hostel benches,yes the ones whose pics u must have seen on my orkut profile,these benches are a place where lottsa ppl have shared some gr8 memories...nyways nw back to my way from the mess aftr pikin up Tanvi's cake we rushed back 4 the quiz...aftr the quiz was over came the nytmare of all lectures 4 me_'QUANT'...but to my surprise the class turned out 2 be an interseting onr wherin i cun understand what to do with "Normal Distribution"....moreover our quanti prof.,Sumeet Mam was very kind to end the lecture 10 minutes early so that we cud celebrate Tanvi's birthday in class...she must have been the first student in dis batch to cut her cake in class...was nt she so happy about th entire thing....n so were we...all her frnz who had made dis day special 4 her...

In the evening i had an interview wid an imporatnt committe of the insti...more on that in the nxt post if therez sm gud news......nyways by 7pm all of us were all set 4 her birthday treat...she had told us bout dis beautiful restaurant "WATERSIDE" wher she had wanted 2 go 4 a long tym..n what better day 2 go than her birthday....Nw guys waterside is one of the most beautiful restaurant's i have been too...the restaurant which is open at one end has got dis cannal flowing by the side jus as it is in movies....wat an ambience...n on top of it the gr8 weather n the cool breeze blowin across it was a day custom made 4 Tanvi's birthday....we had a gr8 tym n a delicious dinner....Thanx Tanvi for takin us all 2 dis beautiful place n wish u a happy birthday once again on behalf of evry one in our gang!!!

And thus a gr8 Monday came to an end....Have lectures tommorow at 11 a.m so need 2 catch on sm sleep as the nxt Sunday has still some time to come....

Roti Kapda Makaan Aur "Internet"

What are the three most essential things in life,,,'Roti Kapda aur Makaan' as goes the age old saying ....But if u ask the same question to a teenager who has more friends
'online"than "offline"..who prefers to play Counter Strike on LAN rather than a game of football...he would definitely add "Internet" to the three other words mentioned above....



I was confined to the bed the entire day today coz i had an injured ankle...wtz more I had to miss a class too(now i wont get the award for 100% attendence..lol)..my frnz and me had planned a dinner in the eve to celebrate one of our batchmates birthday....but as luck would have it i could not go....but if I look back in hindsight i think the injury was like a blessing in disguise to me thouh I had to miss a Marketing lecture but apart from dat what i did today was due for quite sometime....I had a day entirely to myself as in I could relax n look back upon the things I had wanted to...now dont get any ideas..what I meant was that I was able to work on Quant which is givin me a slightly tough time...moreover i hav to submit an Organizational Behaviour project soon so got some time to wrk on dat too.....All dis was in the morning n afternoon!!

By the evening my friends had left for the dinner n I was left all by myself though i wanted to be a part of the celebrations..nyways I switched on my lappy again n caught up wid many of my 'online friends"....did sm project wk n got bak to the studies again...So all in all it was a day well spent wid books and Internet ofcourse!!!

Have a class to atten d tommorow at 11a.m.....yes u read that ryt...have a class on Sunday...somehow "Sunday mein woh chutti waali baat nai rahi ab"...my batchmates know what i mean...hopefully I will attend the class tomm as my ankle is shaping up and is ready to sweat it out on the court and shoot some more "Three pointers"!!!!

Here Iam This Is Me...

Well I am posting after a long long time now...wud lyk to thank a special friend for it was for her blog that i read n got a renewed inspiration to post again...This one is dedicated to u!!!! Just to do some catching up...as I mentioned in my first post that I was pursuing Bachelors In Business Administration Course...things have moved on in a big way since then...I have made it to Institute Of Management,Nirma University,Ahmedabad(IMNU) to pursue the coveted MBA programme...Well my cousre began on 17th June nad trust me things have moved at a franatic pace since then.....Most of you must be wondering what i mean...well what Iam talking about is the typical B-school life....I had heard alot about it from my seniors n faculty at my coaching institute ..n lemme tell all the MBA aspirants that whatever they tell you is absolutely true,but then listening to it is another thing and getting a first hand feel of it is simply something which cannot be expressed in words...From attending lectures to pre readings to surprise quizzes(they are actually very nasty) to attending seminars to preparing group and individual assignments to meeting deadlines to attending committees' and club meets....they have it all!!!!The best thing i hav learnt so far is the importance of time and managing it efficiently...i actually have something or the other lined up for practically every hour of the day...the day just passes by in a flash...but if u look back upon it,u actually feel that u have done smthing constructive...it not jus includes the serious stuff,its got a fun side too...u get 2 meet n network wid ppl n chill out frnz...u gotta chk out my orkut profile 2 c the masti we do along wid d studies....
Btw today a sports meet got underway in my college wherin all sections of MBA both juniors and seniors clash against each other...had a volleyball match wid the MBA(Family biz) first year and defeated them in two straight sets...the icing on the cake..i was on winning the team and made a useful contribution to our team’s success..this was followed by a game of tennis for half an hour..have picked up some skills wid the racket here...this was followed by a game of basketball where in i managed to ywist my ankle n its still hurting..(have another volleyball match tomm,wish my ankle wud be fine by then)....now all this was a well deserved thing coz after attending 4 lectures lasting for more than 6 hours!!!After the games in the evening we had a placement committe meeting wher all the junta eager to be a part of the most important students committe came in huge numbers....n all dis was at 10 in the night...Finally its pouring cats and dogs here in Ahmedabad....Thank you raingods this was due...I will catch up wid u ppl l8r...till then Iam enjoing this fanatstic weather on "PLANET IMNU"!!!
